Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET) is an institution set up by DAVV under faculty of engineering to offer 4-Year BE and ME Degree programmes. It was established in 1996 in accordance with the guidelines of the AICTE & UGC for self-financed institutes. IET is an institutional member of Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE), New Delhi. The campus of IET is situated at Takshashila Parisar, adjacent to the Ring Road, off Khandwa Road.

Since establishment IET has grown with leap and bounds and established itself as one of the best centres of imparting technical education in the central part of India. It became PG institute since 2002 by starting two postgraduate programmes, now offering three PG programmes,  with four specialisations.
